Nature is crazy. I think that is one of my biggest temptations towards being a homeschool mom, actaually. Whenever I'm with my kids it forces me to pay attention to what's going on around me and be wonder-struck at what God made.
I love this. I spent 2 hours solo with a 2-year-old last week. We took the world's slowest walk down his block, but we noticed EVERYTHING, and behind everything was a WHY. It was such a good reminder to slow down and pay attention.
Thank you for your thoughtful writing. Sometimes our experiences, such as the visit to the weather station and coffee shop, really do take time to see the lesson. I'm going to be thinking about your perspective on balance for quite a while.
